Student Says He’s Too Smart For First Grade. This Is The Principal’s Response…

One of the kids in first grade was giving their teacher a lot of difficulties. “Johnny, what is your problem?” the teacher asked.

“I’m too smart for first grade,” Johnny said. “I’m smarter than my sister who is in the third grade. I feel like I’m in the wrong grade.”

The teacher had reached her limit. She brought Johnny to see the principal.

The teacher briefed the principal on the issue while Johnny waited in the corridor outside.

The principal informed the teacher that he would administer a test to the youngster and that if he did not do well on the exam, the boy would be sent back to first grade to learn proper behavior. The teacher agreed.

After being brought in and briefed on the test’s parameters, Johnny decides to participate.

Asking the student, “What is 3 x 3?”

Johnny: “9”

The teacher asked again, “What is 6 x 6?”

Johnny: “36”

Everything the principal thought a third-grader should know, the students were quizzed on.

The principal gives the instructor a glance before saying, “I think Johnny can go to third grade.”

The educator requests, “May I ask him some questions?” from the school’s top administrator. Johnny and the principal share the same opinion. Teacher: “What does a cow have four of that I have only two of?”

Johnny, after a short pause, “Legs.”

The teacher continued, “What is in your pants that I do not have?” The principal’s eyes widened dramatically, but Johnny said, “Pockets.”

Added the professor: “What does a dog do that a man steps into?”

Johnnie: “Pants”

The teacher posed another question, “What has the letters F and K in it, and means a great deal of excitement?”

John: “Fire truck.”

Put Johnny in fifth grade, the principal said to the teacher, “I missed the last four questions myself.”
