Social Media Celebrity Passed Away At The Age Of 24

Tragically, Alysha Burney, a social media celebrity, passed away at the age of 24.

The native of Kansas City has more over five million Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok followers.

Apart from social media, she was the owner of ABurneyProductions, a production business that has produced a movie.

The content author, a graduate of the University of Central Missouri, had been residing in Los Angeles.

After learning about Burney’s tragic death, fans are devastated.

One admirer posts on her social media: “Beautiful, rest in peace.”

Another adds: “Rest in peace. We forever miss you.”

“May she rest in peace,” somebody else says. “She never failed to make me laugh and smile.”

A fourth person comments: “I miss you, Burney. You were my inspiration.”

Burney’s brother, Charles, said: “She was not selfish with her knowledge and was a very open book about her journey. She will always be dearly loved, and her legacy will live on forever.”

“Alysha was very goal-oriented, creative, and passionate about giving back. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Production and was working towards her graduate degree.”

Charles revealed in an interview with FOX4 that Burney passed away following a sleep-related asthma attack.

According to reports, the influencer died on March 2 while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She was twenty-four and would be twenty-five the next day.

Her brother is refuting allegations that she passed away because of her social media following and prominence.

“She does not do drugs. She was a self-loving and happy individual who cherished her life and was looking forward to the upcoming year’s plans. She was in Mexico to celebrate her birthday. She was a very classy young woman,” Charles commented.

“There’s a spread of misinformation online, stating different things based on speculation. These sources lack credibility and should not be believed. My sister did not engage in environments that would lead to such situations.”

According to Charles, his sister wanted to help other young creatives and pursue careers as a writer and director.

Her brother first confirmed the saddening news on Instagram, where he wrote (per MailOnline): “I come with great sadness that my little sister Alysha Burney has passed.”

“PLEASE allow our family time to grieve during this time.”

“It is extremely difficult seeing all of the false narratives trying to defame her legacy and we are ready to take legal action for those continuing to spread false information regarding her passing.”
