Simulation Of Air India Crash Shows Survivor’s Narrow Path To Survival

The only survivor of the Air India airline tragedy may have escaped the flaming wreckage in an incredible fashion, according to a simulation.

Just seconds after taking off from Ahmedabad, western India, a British man named Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, 40, miraculously survived the deadly Air India plane disaster on June 12.

The possible reason he was able to leave the debris of the Air India flight, which tragically claimed the lives of the 241 other passengers and crew members on board, has been revealed via video footage.

Numerous persons on the ground were also killed when the AI171 jet, which was bound for London, collided with a structure that housed doctors at the Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College and Civil Hospital.

Since then, the dead toll has increased to 270.

Although authorities are still looking into the cause of the Boeing 787-8 crash, numerous experts have offered their opinions on how Ramesh was able to survive.

Ramesh may have evacuated the plane in one of two ways, according to a recent simulation that AiTelly uploaded to YouTube.

One possibility is that he sprang off the aircraft while it was in midair and descended through the emergency exit.

Option two: Just before the jet caught fire, he might have been able to flee when it crashed through the same door.

The simulation also illustrates a number of explanations behind the plane’s accident, including engine failure and complete power outages. However, option two appears to be the most plausible explanation for Ramesh’s incredible tale.

He claims that he was sitting in seat 11a on the aircraft and managed to get off before the jet caught fire when it struck a residential neighbourhood.

From his hospital bed, the father of one from Leicester, UK, described how he managed to “unbuckle” himself from his seat and push an opening with his leg.

“When I got up, there were bodies all around me. I was scared. I stood up and ran,” he said to local news media, as per Reuters. “There were pieces of the plane all around me. Someone grabbed hold of me and put me in an ambulance and brought me to the hospital.”

Video from the incident shows a bystander go up to him while he is limping and covered in blood, directing him to emergency personnel.

Along with his brother Ajay, Ramesh was flying back to the UK to be with his family. But he sadly lost his sister, who was seated in the same row but in a separate seat.

The portion of the jet he was sitting in was near the ground and had not struck the structure, he told Indian state media DD News. But he claimed that the other side was close to a wall, making it impossible for anyone to leave.

According to Ramesh, he ‘simply strolled out’ and left the scene despite the emergency door being shattered.

Many people might think that Ramesh has the answer to what went wrong, but he acknowledges that he “can’t explain” anything. However, he does recall hearing a “loud noise” and seeing “flickering lights” inside the aircraft just seconds after it took off from the runway.

“I saw people dying in front of my eyes – the air hostesses, and two people I saw near me,” he said. “For a moment, I felt like I was going to die too, but when I opened my eyes and looked around, I realised I was alive.”

“I still can’t believe how I survived. I walked out of the rubble.”
