Robert Irwin Gets Bitten In The Face By Same Species Snake Which Attacked Late Dad Steve Irwin

Bindi and Robert Irwin, the children of the late Steve Irwin, are continuing their father’s work.

They carry on their father’s legacy of caring for wildlife and protecting Australia’s diverse ecosystem.

However, there is more where it came from… The young Robert Irwin experienced something on tape that was almost identical to something his father had gone through.

Robert Irwin not only resembles his father physically, but he also followed in his footsteps by becoming a conservationist.

The late nature warrior recently posted a photo to Instagram showing yet another uncanny resemblance between the two guys.

On Thursday, Robert Irwin’s son uploaded footage from the 1980s showing his late father being bitten in the face by a python.

After being bitten multiple times on the eyebrow and nose, the young animal activist posted a video of himself handling the same snake.

“Déjà vu. Dad and me getting bitten by the same species of snake (carpet python) decades apart,” Robert wrote in the caption for the video. “I found this python on the side of a road, but as you can see, sometimes snake rescues don’t quite go to plan 😂”

Both men, animal lovers at heart, bravely ate the bites. Robert, like Steve, handled the rescue with composure before tending to his wounds.

“I got a little too close, so he gave me a bite. They’ve got extremely sharp teeth like little needles.” Watch the video here.

At the Australia Zoo, Steve Irwin’s widow Terri and their children Robert and Bindi are continuing their father’s commitment to animal welfare and conservation.

In 2006, at the age of 44, Steve Irwin passed away. While shooting on the Great Barrier Reef, a stingray accidentally stung him.

Robert Irwin was just 2 years old when his father passed away.

Robert paid tribute to his father on the Australian equivalent of Father’s Day in September, the month after his passing.

He shared a message saying, “It’s Father’s Day today in Australia, and I am sending my love to those who are missing their dad today. I cherish all the good times with my dad and feel grateful to be able to keep his memory and legacy alive ❤️.”

Like his beloved father before him, Robert Irwin has blossomed into a lovely adult.

Now Viral:

Steve, looking down from heaven, would be quite pleased with the efforts his son is making to perpetuate his legacy.
