Prince William Finally Breaks Silence On Harry With 3-Word Admission

For many years, Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry, have not communicated. Whether they will ever make apologies is the question. William has not publicly discussed his brother, even though the Duke wrote about him and his wife, Kate Middleton, in his candid biography Spare. So far.

Prince Harry’s connection with his brother, Prince William, who would go on to become king, was ruined when he left the royal family. Growing up, they had been quite close, but that ended the moment Harry and Meghan departed.

William has never mentioned his brother in public, and there are rumors that the two haven’t spoken since the Duke left. William chose to remain silent despite Harry saying this and that about him, the future queen, and his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.

One of the numerous things Harry wrote about his brother in Spare was that he and William got into a violent altercation in 2019. However, earlier this year, there were rumors that Harry felt bad about the book he wrote about his brother.

Prince William doesn’t appear interested in Harry getting back together with his brother and the rest of the Royal Family, even if Harry would like to. Putting his brother’s feud behind him isn’t even close to the top of his priority list, according to royal analyst Jennie Bond. William and Kate’s official social media accounts surprisingly sent out a welcome on Prince Harry’s birthday.

“I still think things are too sensitive for a meaningful reconciliation with William, but the fact that he and Catherine authorised the greeting to be posted is definitely an unexpected turn of events,” Bond told OK! last year, referring to the Prince and Princess of Wales’ happy birthday post to Harry.

Prince William breaks silence on Prince Harry

“William has so much on his plate at the moment that I don’t think he has room in his heart or head to deal with all that has gone on with Harry. While the brothers may never be close again, or even live on the same continent, it doesn’t mean that the future has to be full of bitterness and bad blood. Catherine is right. Family should always be paramount.”

Since the royal separation, Prince William has never brought up Harry’s name in public. Even if it wasn’t about their relationship today, he has now.

Prince William talked about his wife and family on the AppleTV+ television program The Reluctant Traveller. He also talked about his aspirations for the future, believing that if he takes the throne, history won’t repeat itself.

“I hope we don’t go back to some of the practices in the past that Harry and I had to grow up in. And I’ll do everything I can to make sure we don’t regress in that situation,” William said, per the Express.

So why did William decide this was the moment he would mention Harry? Royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror, “The mention of Harry is indeed fleeting and I think it would be wrong to spend much time talking about it. But I suppose it does show that William hasn’t blocked his brother completely from his brain.”

“It was only natural for him to include Harry”

She added, “It was only natural for him to include Harry when talking about his childhood, but I don’t think we should read more into it than that. On the programme as a whole, I think it was an extraordinary insight into who William really is.”

Bond concluded, “We all think we know him, at least as a prince, but this was a glimpse behind the mask at the man who will be King. The words that screamed out at me were his unequivocal intention to question whether certain aspects of the monarchy are fit for purpose.”
