People Were Taken Aback When A Reporter With A Boom Mike Struck Donald Trump In The Face Live On Television

People are stunned by how President Donald Trump responded after a reporter struck him in the face with a boom mic.

On Friday, March 14, the 45th and 47th President of the United States was responding to press inquiries at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland when he was abruptly struck in the face by a large, fuzzy boom microphone, sometimes referred to as a muff.

He closed his eyes and leaned back to prevent the muff from contacting him, and you can see it sliding across his face and touching his mouth.

When interviewing someone with a lot of other reporters present, extended mics are usually used to keep the camera shot away from the subject because it would get congested if everyone was holding a microphone to the subject’s face.

However, while Trump glared at the reporter, it appears that someone misjudged the distance between him and the muff and slid it across his face.

While it’s not clear who the reporter was working for, we do know that she is a woman, as the 78-year-old clapped back a comment after he made contact with the fuzz ball, stating: “She just made television tonight. She just became a big story tonight.”

His reaction to it all, seemed a little annoyed, but also amused as well as he initially shot her daggers, before raising his eyebrows and then laughing as he asked someone off camera: “Did you see that?”

Many people have been shocked by the occurrence, which has been making the rounds on the internet.

While some were upset that the reporter touched his face, others thought he handled it expertly.

One person wrote: “A reporter just HIT President Trump with a microphone. But 47 handled it like a PRO.”

Another said, “How on earth did a reporter get that boom mic so close to Trump’s face? This just doesn’t seem right. Security should tighten up. Embarrassing for the press.”

Someone else commented, “President Trump was just smacked in the face by a reporter’s boom mic. Unreal these people. Have some respect.”

Some Trump fans questioned, “Where’s the secret service?” because they find it hard to believe that someone could approach him that closely.

Some others think that the muff was “infected with the next pandemic” or tainted with “poison.”

The possible causes are ‘fentanyl, anthrax, herpes.’.

That ‘this should be treated as an assassination attempt’ was the next statement made.

A user wrote, “I am going to say yes. And if Trump mysteriously gets sick or has some medical situation then the boom mic was laced with something that microphone should have been confiscated on the spot.”

Another demanded that the individual be let go.

There are therefore different responses to this accident.

You wouldn’t want to be that reporter currently, I wager.

He posted on Truth Social that he had a “good” conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin after attempting to broker a settlement between Russia and Ukraine following their three-year conflict.
