People Were Taken Aback By The Contents Of Donald Trump’s Paper, Which Stated That He Purchased Tesla To Support Elon Musk’s “Baby”

After focusing on a piece of paper Donald Trump was clutching while looking over Elon Musk’s Tesla inventory at the White House, internet users were surprised.

Trump announced intentions to show’support’ for Musk’s company, which he referred to as Musk’s ‘baby’, on Tuesday, March 11, when a variety of Tesla models, including electric vehicles and a Cybertruck, were displayed at the White House.

As the company’s price fell, Trump accused the “Radical Left” of boycotting Tesla in order to “attack and do harm to Elon.” In response, the president announced that he would purchase a “brand new Tesla” as a sign of support for the company’s creator.

Trump was seen telling reporters in White House footage that he wanted to purchase one of the automobiles because it was a “great product.” “Everything’s computer!” he said, describing a red Tesla Model S as “beautiful” and expressing astonishment at its inside.

However, astute spectators saw that Trump had additional information written out on the piece of paper he was carrying around, in addition to the more evident details he was displaying while examining the cars.

Trump’s documents, with a handwritten note at the top outlining the various prices for Teslas, were photographed by one photographer.

It said:

“Tesla Prices:

“Completely Autonomous Driving:

The silver Model X costs $112,490.

$114,000 (gray) for CT

“Blue Model S: $108,990”

“Model Y – $59,990 (Red)”

Below some additional costings, the note featured a line that read like a sales pitch, reading, “Teslas can be purchased as low as $299/month of $35k. All cars have self driving, just needs to be turned on (fee).”

Viewers were left shocked by the detailed breakdown Trump had on hand while looking at the cars, with one Reddit user writing, “Jesus. This is one of those pictures you see in history books for all the wrong reasons.”

One person even called Trump a “literal car salesman,” saying, “This is extraordinary.”

The president should be “impeached,” according to one Reddit user, for engaging in “literal advertisements for his billionaire friends” during “official White House press events.”

Trump, who hasn’t always been a big advocate for electric vehicles, told reporters at the White House that he intended to “pay full price” for his Tesla. The president told audiences in Iowa in 2023 that electric cars “don’t go far” and “cost a fortune.”

He said to another group that year, “Electric cars are good if you have a towing company.”
