Heartwarming Video Of Mom Sharing Her Experience Of Parenting A Child With Cerebral Palsy

The moving video of a mom sharing her experience of parenting a child with cerebral palsy!

The ratio of defected births to normal births is considerable. We all know someone who has a child who needs constant attention because of the illness from which they are suffering. Surely, it is not easy and we can never imagine ourselves in their place. However, with a world so connected as the one we are living in today, more and more alike mothers are sharing their experience.

Christina is just another mom who is trying to normalize her life with her daughter, Finley, who suffers from Cerebral Palsy.

Sundays are for Jesus + Football… and fun outings with my girl while daddy watches the football. 😜🙌🏻🏈

Sure, it is not uncommon to come across such awareness videos on social media these days. However, what we need to realize that each experience is unique.

Finley is an adopted child. They couldn’t have a child of their own despite of trying hard and when Finley came into their lives, they considered themselves as blessed. Finley has born 9-weeks prior and suffered brain injury due to which doctors said she might never walk. When Finley was 15-months-old, she was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. The lovely parents set up a life mission to provide the best for their daughter.

As if things couldn't get more exciting around here 😩🙌🏻. If you happen to pick up the October Issue of Good Housekeeping…

Just as any other child with brain injury at birth and a brain condition, Finley went through multiple surgeries. Christina pioneered a foundation, Fifiandmo, dedicated to raising awareness about life of a mom of a child with cerebral palsy. She wanted the world to know that they function just as any other parents with only difference being that it takes them a little longer. Christina connected with other moms like her and together they became a family working towards a common goal.

Irrespective of the time and effort Finley required, Christina loved her daughter for who she was. She didn’t spare any chance in making her feel valued.

Their care and determination is why Finley has hope of walking on her own in the future!
