Millie Bobby Brown Officially Has A New Name And Fans Won’t Stop Praising Her For It

It looks like Millie Bobby Brown has a new moniker, and fans are praising the celebrity.

The Stranger Things star, who had become engaged a year earlier, wed Jake Bongiovi in a covert ceremony in May.

A source close to the couple informed The Sun that “Millie and Jake quietly said their vows in America last weekend.”

The pair has already “legally married and done all the paperwork,” the insider continued, even though a bigger celebration is scheduled for later this year.

Their closest family members were present at what was described as a “very low-key, romantic affair” ceremony.

Some social media users have criticized the couple despite their youth, claiming that they are too young to get married.

Jon Bon Jovi, Jake’s father, has defended them, though.

In a radio interview with Andy Cohen, the iconic musician said: “I don’t know if age matters; if you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice, really, is that growing together is wise.”

On social media, Millie regularly posts pictures of herself and Jake, along with endearing remarks like “my forever wedding date” and “my forever prince.”

One picture, though, jumped out of her most recent Instagram post: it was a close-up of her name on the Stranger Things set.

Her name was displayed in the picture as “Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi.”

Soon after the new moniker was announced, fans expressed their joy in the comments section.

“Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi sounds so powerful,” one person said, with a second adding: “Bobby Brown Bongiovi is the new tongue twister.”

Others joined in, showering the celebrity with compliments; some merely dubbed her moniker “Iconic.”

Millie talked about the potential of her well-known father-in-law playing at the wedding before it happened.

Speaking to Today, she said: “I feel like that’s asking me to go and, like, do a full-on play for everyone. I think the man needs a break. He doesn’t stop.”

She added, “He’s always doing tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break, maybe it’s a three-hour break.”

Actor Matthew Modine, who co-starred with Brown on Stranger Things, said on Access Daily in March that he was selected to perform the ceremony.

The 65-year-old Modine is well-known for playing the mysterious scientist Dr. Martin Brenner, who has a tumultuous connection with Eleven, Brown’s character.
