Military Sleep Trick Promises 96% Success Rate—Fall Asleep In 2 Minutes!
With lengthy and hazardous shifts and noisy and unpleasant bunks, it is highly valued in the military to be able to fall asleep quickly.
It is therefore not surprising that the US military reportedly devised a brilliant sleep-inducing technique.
Justin Agustin, a fitness coach who understands the importance of a well-built routine, recently published it on TikTok.
After some experience, the technique promises to put you to sleep in two minutes. It begins with you laying comfortably in bed.
To go to the following stage, you must first calm yourself by relaxing your jaw and eyes while paying attention to your breathing.

You must begin to visualise a warm sensation in your scalp that gradually begins to travel throughout your body while you relax your neck, shoulders, hands, and fingers.
You should try to declutter your mind as much as you can as the warmth moves from your head through your arms, fingertips, chest, thighs, and feet.
You could see yourself sleeping peacefully in a hammock in a completely dark room or somewhere like a clear lake on a day with a blue sky and no one else around.
According to Agustin, you may just repeat the phrase “don’t think” to yourself until you regain your composure if you’re having trouble staying mentally clear.
Based on other people’s experiences, it appears that the technique can take up to six weeks of nightly practice to become accustomed to, but if you take that time, you may discover that you fall asleep easily 96% of the time.
And the comment section seems to confirm this, with one TikToker writing, “I’m a military brat and was taught this. I also had a veteran as a psychology teacher in college who taught this. It definitely works.”
Be ready for some frustrating nights as you get used to the military approach, but if you can get the hang of it, you’ll start to feel like a sleep superhero. Those of us who have tried other sleep strategies will also know that forcing yourself to sleep is really difficult.
