Martha Stewart, 81, Is The Oldest To Be Featured As Cover Girl For Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

The cover girl is Martha Stewart!

The lifestyle expert was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s iconic Swimsuit Issue for the first time.

Megan Fox, Kim Petras, and Brooks Nader were the other three cover stars of the 2023 issue.

At 81, Stewart is the oldest to be featured.

“When I heard that I was going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, I thought, Oh, that’s pretty good, I’m going to be the oldest person I think ever on a cover of Sports Illustrated,” she admitted. “And I don’t think about age very much, but I thought that this is kind of historic.”

The 81-year-old had her portrait taken in the Dominican Republic.

She said that it was a “challenge” for her in an interview with Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb of Today, but that she thought she “met the challenge.”

During the picture session, Stewart tried about ten different outfits, but the cover image features her in a white bathing suit with a plunging neckline and an orange shawl thrown over her shoulders.

Age is just a number

Despite becoming the oldest person to ever grace the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, TV star Kristen Stewart insists her age is irrelevant.

“Age is not the determining factor in terms of friendship or in terms of success, but what people do, how people think, how people act, that’s what’s important and not your age.”

Stewart discussed being called a “bona fide sex symbol” at her advanced age in a recent interview with InStyle.

“I’m a teacher. I’m trying to teach others that you can look great. There’s no reason to slump around,” she said about posting her viral thirst traps on social media.

Martha Stewart is a stunner! Her positive outlook on getting older is an example to follow.
