Many Believe That A Vintage Photograph Of A Youngster Holding An iPad Is “Proof Of Time Travel”
A 1940s photograph is now taken as “proof” that time travel has been accomplished, as humanity continues to make science fiction come true.
The image in question dates back to 1941 and shows a group of well-dressed kids waiting in line outside a Chicago movie theater. One boy is holding what some have speculated is an iPad.
Though the gadget he’s holding onto has a slightly different finish, it would have been one of the later generations—if it’s a tablet at all. Of course, Apple created the first iPad in 2010, some 69 years later.

However, science continues to show that even the most improbable things are achievable. For example, a group of researchers from Oxford University managed to transfer light particles between two quantum computers, and a YouTuber in Russia has developed a retractable lightsaber.
Additionally, efforts have been made to use a fusion reactor to create an artificial sun. With one gram of hydrogen isotopes producing the same amount of energy as eleven tonnes of coal, its construction aims to provide humanity with limitless clean energy till the end of time.
I’m trying to say that the mega-minds on our planet can realize many of our most bizarre dreams—and I’m not referring to those bizarre dolphin ones.
In any case, Edwin Rosskam’s vintage photograph, which was uploaded to Reddit, has shocked social media users and ignited a time travel controversy.
Although it’s amazing to see how children lived during World War II, there is one child in particular that everyone on Reddit is talking about.
Many people are chatting with a boy on the far right of the picture, and others think he might be holding an iPad.
This isn’t feasible, really. Reddit users claim that since the first iPad was released in 2010, time travel is the only plausible explanation.
One user commented, “iPad carrying movie goes, all the way to the right,” while another asserted that the image offered “proof of time travel.”
Numerous additional Reddit users raced to the post’s comments section to offer some more practical answers.
“Just getting that early practice pirating films is all. Back in the day of early film, usher’s scanned the audience for pens and notepads as to prevent bootleg recreations of the film,” one user exclaimed.
And another added: “It’s most likely The Holy Bible. They have their Sunday best on, bless their wee souls. Yes, I definitely think that’s what it is.”
