There comes a time when we’re going to grind down on the rock bottom: from people turning us down, to financial problems to problems with self-image… there will be crisis, and in my opinion each and every person has to go through that phase at least once in a lifetime.
We take for granted many things. The air we breathe, the moment we spend with our loved ones, the selfless acts of humanity we see every day. It’s like nothing is ever good enough for us. In those moments, we stumble upon a person that has way less than us, but appreciates each and every moment soaking in the beauty of life. One great example is Nick Vujicic.
Nick Vujicic is an Australian Christian evangelist and motivational speaker born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs.
It was horror for Nick as a child, as he had to accept the fact that he cannot change the way he is, as well as persist through the ugly words from the people around him. Going through the pain and struggle with his disability, he came with amazing idea: at the age of seventeen, started his own non-profit organization, Life Without Limbs.
Vujicic presents motivational speeches worldwide which focus on life with a disability, hope and finding meaning in life.
