Prince William’s Words To Kate Middleton At Their Commonwealth Service Are Revealed By A Lip Reader
After missing last year’s Commonwealth Day Service, Kate Middleton returned to Westminster Abbey today, and all eyes were on her.
The 43-year-old Princess of Wales announced in March 2024 that she would be temporarily stepping away from the spotlight following her cancer diagnosis.
Due to an unrelated matter, she was also unable to attend the event in 2023.
Naturally, many body language specialists chose to keep an eye on Kate to see how she would react to the public’s scrutiny after learning of the mother-of-three’s intention to attend this year’s celebrations.
As a result, one lip reader has evaluated a specific clip of Kate from earlier today (10 March), in which her 42-year-old husband Prince William whispered something into her ear as they entered the sacred site.
As the Princess entered Westminster, she was pictured wearing a stunning hot pink gown by Catherine Walker and a headpiece by Gina Foster. Dr. David Hoyle, the Dean of the Abbey, then greeted her and William.

A video of the incident, which has now gone viral on social media, purports to show Kate turning to face the person on her left and saying, “Thanks,” according to lip reading specialist Jeremy Freeman.
The celebrations are’so wonderful’, she allegedly tells William, the future King.
According to Freeman, who spoke with Tyla confidentially, William then responds, “Not bad, right?”
Not only did Kate’s public appearance earlier today raise eyebrows, but so did her father-in-law, King Charles III.
Buckingham Palace said that 76-year-old Charles had been diagnosed with cancer in February of last year, just a few weeks before the Princess revealed her diagnosis.
“During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted,” a statement released at the time read.
“Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”
His Majesty’s “treatment has been moving in a positive direction and as a managed condition the treatment cycle will continue into next year,” according to Palace officials’ September health report.
The statement went on to say: “There is a sense of optimism, which can be seen in the King’s desire to keep up a busy schedule of public engagements, including during the festive period.”
Fortunately, though, Kate appears to be officially recovering.
The Princess announced that her cancer was currently in remission during a January visit to Chelsea’s Royal Marsden Hospital, where she had previously had treatment.
“I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year,” she said. “My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.”
Kate added: “We couldn’t have asked for more. The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional.”
