In Response To Trump’s Constant Threats, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Takes A Vicious Five-Word Jab At The US
This week, Justin Trudeau made news for taking some direct jabs at Donald Trump.
Following his team’s thrilling victory against the United States at a 4 Nations Faceoff Championship hockey game in Boston on Thursday night, February 19, the Canadian prime minister made an appearance and gave a devastating five-word political message.
The 53-year-old sent a comment on social media after the 3-2 triumph, teasing his presidential neighbor while also applauding the accomplishment.

“You can’t take our country,” Trudeau shared on X (formerly Twitter), in a message which has since received over 206,000 ‘likes’ and 36,000 ‘retweets’. He continued: “And you can’t take our game,”
For those who are perplexed by the departing leader’s impassioned remarks, they follow a string of purported remarks by 78-year-old Republican Trump regarding making Canada the “51st state” in the union.
Bill Guerin, the manager of Team USA, told The Athletic after the game that Trump had threatened the American hockey players during a call with them prior to the game about his plans for Canada.
During the discussion, the controversial president is also accused of calling his Canadian counterpart “Governor Trudeau.”
Trump’s social media platform Truth Social posted a clip of his video conversation with Team USA, in which the father of five can be heard complimenting them: “You guys are really talented,” even though it appears that these parts were taken from the video.
“I have great respect for hockey players, I’m a hockey fan. I love hockey. The talent, the skill that you have is crazy.”
He added: “Just go out and have a good time tonight. I just want to wish you a lot of luck.”
But as we say, Trudeau apparently took notice of Trump’s comments on Canada and posted his scathing five-word rebuttal online.

The Canadian prime minister is reportedly less certain about Trump’s objectives behind the scenes, despite his strong position on the issue.
The father of three was caught unintentionally using the speakers to express his worries during a closed-door meeting with labor and business groups earlier this month, calling Trump’s plans to acquire territory “a real thing,” according to the New York Post.
Attendees later told The Daily Beast that Trudeau had inadvertently announced: “I suggest that not only does the Trump administration know how many critical minerals we have, but that may be even why they keep talking about absorbing us and making us the 51st state.”
“They’re very aware of our resources, of what we have, and they very much want to be able to benefit from those.”
“But Mr. Trump has it in mind that one of the easiest ways of doing that is absorbing our country. And it is a real thing.”
