Jason Aldean and Wife Brittany’s Son had His ‘1st Official Trip To The ER’

There’s first time for anything! Following their visit to the ER with their 4-year-old son Memphis, Jason Aldean and his spouse Brittany Aldean provided fans with an update.

The 45-year-old country music artist posted a picture of his son sleeping in a hospital bed on Tuesday, along with the caption, “Lil man had his first trip to the ER today,” on his Instagram Story. “Needed 2 stitches and took it like a champ. Back home and rockin.”

In a related Instagram Story, Brittany, 33, posted a Boomerang of Memphis smiling at the camera. The native of North Carolina continued, “When Mems fell at the pool, our day took a turn.” “Our first official trip to the emergency room, and two stitches under his chin.”

The former American Idol competitor wrote, “thankful for such great nurses and one awesome doc” who took care of her little one, writing, “He is doing great… mama’s heart, not so much.”

In 2015, Brittany and the “If I Didn’t Love You” singer exchanged vows. The couple has a 3-year-old daughter named Navy in addition to Memphis. Along with his ex-wife Jessica Ussery, Jason is also the father of two daughters: Keeley, 19, and Kendyl, 14.

Brittany exclusively revealed to Us Weekly a year after welcoming Navy that she “would love to” have additional children, but her hubby wasn’t as enthusiastic. “I’ve been asking him, ‘What would our third baby name be?’ He’s like, ‘Well, we don’t have to worry about it because it’s not happening,’ but I would love another,” she said in May 2020.

The University of Alabama alumna joked, “We probably will not be contributing to the new [coronavirus] baby boom.” but she could “understand” why Jason was “done” after four children.

The five-time Grammy nominee told Us four months ago that he had “finally” found the ideal balance between his personal and professional lives. “Now I’ve made it a point at this point of my career to scale back a little bit and still make sure that I’m out playing shows and doing what I need to do there, but spending a little more time at home too,” he explained in January 2020. “I think it’s something that I’ve gotten a grip on a little, the older I’ve gotten and the longer I’ve been in the business.”

The native of Georgia went on, “I still love what I do. I love playing shows and doing my thing, but in the early days of my career where I was playing 200 shows a year and was never at home, that kind of gets rough.”

Still, other than trips to the ER, the singer of “My Kinda Party” is never bored. Jason made a joke earlier this year about eventually matching up his youngest daughter with Carrie Underwood’s three-year-old son, Jacob.

“I don’t know if I am going to have much say in [Navy’s love life],” he told Entertainment Tonight in March of his “strong-headed” little girl. “I feel like [Brittany’s] gonna be more protective of our son and I’ll probably be more protective of Navy.”
