Hurricane Milton Has Put Central Florida On High Alert

The Tampa Bay area is getting ready for Hurricane Milton, which is predicted to make landfall just once in a hundred years.

According to Tampa Mayor Jane Castor, residents in vulnerable regions are converting their homes into coffins in an attempt to weather the storm surge.

According to her, workers are still clearing enormous amounts of Hurricane Helene debris that might explode into lethal projectiles during Milton.

The Air Force and NOAA’s Hurricane Hunter aircraft have reported that the strongest sustained winds are around 165 mph (270 km/h), with stronger gusts.

According to the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, Milton is a category 5 hurricane.
