The victims were the 14-year-old figure skating sisters Everly and 11-year-old Alydia Livingston, as well as Asra Hussain, the husband of the guy who revealed that he prayed she would be rescued out of the sea shortly after the disaster.

An American Airlines-owned PSA Airlines plane struck a Black Hawk helicopter carrying three soldiers participating in a training flight in midair at 8:47 p.m. ET (January 29), a US military official said.

Flight 5342 had taken off from Wichita, Kansas, and was making its way to Ronald Reagan National Airport for a landing.

The chopper and the airliner, which had 60 passengers and four crew members on board, both fell into the Potomac River.

The whole list of confirmed dead includes 26-year-old Asra Hussain, whose husband, Hamaad Raza, told WUSA9 that he had communicated with her just minutes prior to the event.

He explained that the remainder of his texts were not delivered, saying, “That’s when I realized something was up.”
