Donny Osmond Shares An Emotional Moment With Brother At His Last Concert

Donald Clark Osmond is well-known singer, dancer, actor, television host, and former teen idol. Some people have no idea, but before embarking on a journey as a solo singer, Osmond first gained fame performing with four of his elder brothers as the Osmonds.

Even though he went to perform solo, he has never forgotten to support his brothers every step of the way!

Donny Osmond’s older brother, Merrill Osmond is also an American musician, singer, and occasional actor. He is best known for being the lead vocalist and bassist of the family music group The Osmonds and The Osmond Brothers, as well as an occasional solo artist.

A few months ago, the older brother Merrill Osmond announced that he will perform his last-ever concert and Donny made sure he was there to witness the stunning, last performance.

The singer shared a photo on his social media of an emotional moment he shared with his brother on stage, as Donny hugged his brother from behind.

He wrote a sweet caption accompanying the heartwarming photo: “It was a night I’ll never forget. I went to my brother, Merrill’s final performance here in the US. As I watched him, I turned into a fan myself as I sang along with all of the other fans packing the Westgate theater, where we performed together in the 70s. He asked me to join him at the end of the show and as he sang his closing song, I couldn’t help but give my brother a farewell hug. Yes, it took all of us to create The Osmonds, but it was Merrill’s voice that created the sound. It was an amazing moment. Thank you, my brother.”

This is certainly a moment written in their DNA. It is so sweet that Donny not only cheered and was his biggest fan on the concert, but also posted a heartwarming picture with such an incredible caption.

Donny was a part of “The Osmonds’ for years and the group was really famous in the mid 70s. In 2003 they were recognized for their amazing contribution to music and given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Despite breaking up the band, the brothers supported one another no matter what. What a sweet gesture by Donny to support his older brother on his last concert.

If you found this moment as heartwarming as we did, please share it with your friends and family!
