Dad’s Heartwarming Gesture Of Getting A Tattoo To Match His Son’s Cancer Scar Is Winning The Internet
With his heartwarming gesture, this dad is winning hearts all over the entire world!
When they say “you have a guardian angel protecting you”, what they mean is that you have parents and family that loves you and is willing to do anything for you.
Thanks to the internet, we can see these heartwarming moments all over the world on social media. Yes, we can also see the “ugly” things happening all over the world, but we can also see the goodness of humanity.
One of those examples is Josh Marshall.
When Josh Marshall realised that his 8-year-old son is getting self-conscious of the scar he got from a brain-cancer surgery, he did something incredible to make him comfortable.
Josh told ABC news that his son was left with big scar on the right side of his head after the surgery to remove his brain tumor.
His son was so self-conscious that “he felt like a monster.”
Because of his immense love for his son, Josh got the same tattoo on his head to match his son’s scar. He told his son “If people want to stare at you, then they can stare at both of us.”
Josh send a photo of his tattoo and Gabriel’s scar to the annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation’s #BestBaldDad competition on Father’s Day.
The heartwarming gesture won the competition, and his photo and story went viral for all the right reasons.
