Another Celebrity Is Leaving The States. Here’s Where She’s Now

At the moment, Amber Heard resides in a posh part of Madrid with her two-year-old daughter Oonagh Paige.

Many of Amber Heard’s admirers have been asking questions about her reasons for leaving the United States following her defamation lawsuit against Johnny Depp.

Previous rumors circulated that Heard had completely left Hollywood and moved to Madrid, the capital of Spain. But with the release of her comeback movie “In the Fire,” Heard made a spectacular return.

People.com said that an insider said Amber relocated to Spain because she “just had to get out of the U.S.”

“The trial was beyond stressful, and she wanted to start fresh,” explained the source.

The informant also revealed Amber’s present mental state.

“She has new energy and is focused on things that she loves,” added the source.

Presently, Amber resides in a posh part of Madrid with her daughter Oonagh Paige, who is already two years old. Regarding that, an insider stated, “she gets more privacy.”

Notably, in June of this year, Amber’s TikTok video became viral, showcasing her amazing time in Spain. Amber exclaimed, “I love Spain so much,” to reporters from the area.

“Yes, I hope so,” she said in response to reporters’ questions about her plans to stay. “Yes, I love living here.”

When asked if she was working on any new film projects, Amber replied, “I move on. That’s life.”

In a 2018 Washington Post opinion piece regarding sexual assault, Johnny filed a $50 million lawsuit against Amber, saying that she had defamed him.

After Johnny prevailed in court, his ex-wife Amber was forced to give him $350,000 in punitive damages in addition to $10 million in compensatory damages. In her countersuit against Johnny, Amber had sought compensatory damages, and the jury had granted her $2 million. But according to recent sources, Amber settled with Johnny for $1 million in damages and gave up on the idea of challenging the decision.

Director Conor Allyn recently praised Amber for how she handled the devastating event of the Johnny Depp trial in her comeback picture “In the Fire.”

“I’m so happy that Amber went through something so awful and it didn’t change her as a person. She’s still the shining light that we explained earlier and to go through something that terrible and be able to come out the other side and be whole, well I can’t imagine it,” said Allyn.
