Amid Fan Concerns, Justin Bieber Breaks His Quiet With A Poignant Message
As fans’ worries about Justin Bieber’s health grow, he has finally spoken out.
After raising concerns about his health on social media with his messy look and bong use, the 31-year-old Baby singer wrote a sorrowful statement in which he acknowledged feeling “like a fraud” and “unqualified most days.”
People told me my whole life “wow Justin you deserve that,” the post from Thursday suggested, hinting that the former child star suffers from imposter syndrome due to his quick ascent to prominence.
“And I personally have always felt unworthy, like I was a fraud, like when people told me I deserve something.”
“It made me feel sneaky like, damn if they only knew my thoughts.”
“How judgmental I am, how selfish I really am… They wouldn’t be saying this.”
“I say all this to say, if you feel sneaky, welcome to the club.”
“I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days.”
After being found on YouTube at the age of 15, Bieber quickly rose to stardom and signed with Usher’s record label.
With an estimated 150 million albums sold globally since the release of his debut single, Baby, in 2010, he has gone on to become one of the best-selling musicians of all time.
However, in recent months, Bieber’s representative issued a statement denying he was on hard drugs, sparking rumors about his health as the singer appeared out in strange clothes and with hollow eyes.
The musician and wife Hailey, 28, who have a seven-month-old son named Jack Blues, have continued to ignore the worries about their relationship by going out together recently and posting on each other’s social media profiles.
The musician celebrated his 31st birthday earlier this month on March 1st, and he posted a variety of photos to Instagram, one of which showed him and Hailey holding their baby Jack.
In another picture, the model was seen tenderly encircling her husband in her arms while they appeared to be singing karaoke.
When he posted pictures of himself smoking from what looked to be a bong a few days later, he alarmed followers once more.
In images posted to Instagram, the celebrity was seated on an e-bike while Cypress Hill’s song “Hits From The Bong” played in the background.
People on social media rushed to the post’s comment area to express their opinions, with one writing: You’re in your 30s, right? A fourteen-year-old would post something like this. Be a daddy and man up.
Another wrote, “Get off the drugs and raise your son,” while a fan also shared, “I hope Jack doesn’t have to be around all this smoke. A kid doesn’t deserve it.”
In a statement to TMZ late last month, Justin’s representative allayed concerns over his messy appearance.
“The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true,” the rep said, adding that the performer is currently “in one of the best places in his life.”
Along with focusing on creating new music, the celebrity is “actively parenting his newborn son,” Jack, with his wife Hailey.
Justin had a “very transformative” year, the representative said, and he “ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”
It is “exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive” to speculate about his appearance and marriage.
A source recently told DailyMail.com that while Hailey tends to “work all the time ,” the singer instead prefers to “chill with friends” and is more “emotional and leads with his heart.”
The insider further explained that, “He is always working on music and toying with new ideas, he always has a guitar in his hand, he is super creative, but he does not work as much as she does.”
“Justin already has so much success behind him, he is comfortable, he doesn’t need to prove anything. She is the leader and he doesn’t mind following her.”
Another source informed Us Weekly late last month that, “Hailey is trying to be as supportive as possible. It can be hard for Hailey, but she’s always there for him and is understanding.”
The insider went on to say that the artist prioritizes raising his kid Jack over the latest rumors and fan worries.
“He is a really great dad to Jack and is very protective over him.”
One source also told Us Weekly that the music artist is “happier than he’s been in a long time.”
The insider stated that “there’s no breakdown” and added that the singer simply “just really doesn’t care what people think.”
