This interaction between an unemployed woman and Boniface Ogunti will warm your heart!

It is hard to see someone struggle, especially when you have gone through that phase in life yourself.

Boniface Ogunti, a famous public figure, known for his advertising and social skills, posted a video sometime back of helping out a woman who lost her kids due to unemployment in Chicago.

The woman seemed desperate for money and constantly breaking down and losing track of her words while telling her story. It is a sad sight to see and a hard one to deal with. Reassurance and kind words were used strategically by Boniface. He did not overwhelm her and dealt with her patiently which led to the woman gradually moving away from a state of anxiety to calm.

Apparently the woman was waiting on her driver’s license so she could get a job and provide for her kids as the unemployment had lead to her kids being taken away from her. She did not want to temporarily move to a shelter either because her cats would not be allowed there. Since she seems pretty attached to them, she wants a place that would cater to them too.

In order to help her initially, Ogunti had given her a twenty dollar tip and after hearing her story, he handed her another hundred dollars. This was an unanticipated action by the woman and she gets overwhelmed by the kind attitude. It is almost unbelievable for her, which leads her to thinking he might be fooling around with her. To assure her, he hands her over another twenty dollars along with his contact card, offering her a cleaning job at his studio, so she can get back on her feet and start over again.
