My Boyfriend Abandoned Me When I Got Pregnant — 26 Years Later, My Son Knocked On His Door
When Tina married her high school love, she thought she was enjoying a happy life. She would eventually discover, though, how serious the repercussions of our acts are after being expelled by her husband and raising her son by herself.
Tina had always dreamed of a lavish, traditional white wedding. But such was not the case when, at the tender age of 18, she eloped with Richard, her high school boyfriend.
Since Richard came from a very wealthy family, Tina found the idea of eloping to be a little random. But deep down, she was just content that she was getting married to the man she loved. She truly liked Richard and never cared about his affluent upbringing.
“Tina, go out! We’ll have an issue if I see you here once again.”
Tina became pregnant after they had been together for a few months. Tina was ecstatic at the discovery and couldn’t wait to tell her husband, despite the fact that they had never talked about having children.
“What do you mean you’re pregnant?” Angrily, Richard inquired.
“I expected you to be more enthusiastic.” I am aware of how much of a family man you are, even though we didn’t plan this. “You would be a fantastic father,” Tina assured him.

“A man from the family? We are merely together so that I can enjoy some privacy from my current family! How could you harm me like this?” Richard let out a bark.
Tina was completely shocked by what Richards had said. Thinking, “Was he now showing his true colors?” “No, not my Richard,” she said in closing. Tina told herself that she would have to wait and that he still needed a bit more time to take it all in.
Richard abruptly evicted Tina from their apartment the following day after returning home intoxicated.
“Tina, go out! We’ll have a problem if I see you here again,” he warned.
Instead of resisting, Tina just walked away, assuming Richard would change his mind later. A few days later, Tina found that Richard had changed the locks when she went to the flat. Tina was devastated by the conversation that ensued when she called Richard’s parents.
“Hello, Mrs. Tinney and Mr. Tinney. I wanted to talk to Richard. We just…” Tina tried to clarify, but was abruptly interrupted.
“You have so much courage, young girl!” “After everything you did to our Richy, I’m calling!” Mrs. Tinney exclaimed.
“Me? I apologize; I’m not sure I get it. Please… I’m not sure what you’ve heard, but allow me to clarify.” Tina tried to clarify, but was interrupted once more.
“Everything has been reported to us! How you got pregnant with someone else’s child after cheating on him!” Mrs. Tinney yelled, “We’ll sue you for your eyelashes if you ever call here again.”
For Tina, it was as obvious as daybreak at that moment; she and her unborn child were alone.
As the years went by, Tina decided to raise her child herself, using what little love and strength she still had. Greg, her son, took it easy on her. Tina was struggling to make ends meet, but Greg’s understanding of their problems and willingness to lend a hand eased some of the strain.
Tina had always told her kid the truth about what had happened between her and his father. Greg worked closely with his mother to put food on the table and was appreciative of all that she had done. Greg played caddie for the first time at the neighborhood golf club when he was just 15 years old.
Even though he had begun working at an early age, he never allowed it to get in the way of his education. Although Greg never excelled in his academics, he had developed an amazing work ethic. Soon after graduating high school with honors, Greg used the money he had saved from his employment to start a business.
Tina was very proud of Greg’s development as a guy. But she was concerned about the resentment Greg had started to feel toward his father, whom he no longer saw.
Tina couldn’t help but notice the angry look in her son’s eyes whenever Greg brought up his father or the concept of fatherhood in discussion, even though Greg didn’t say much.
Greg’s business expanded over the years, getting better every day. In the end, he got rather well off. In one of their biggest offices, he even employed his mother. Greg was among the most successful under-30 individuals in his city at the young age of 26.
Greg made the decision to visit his elderly father one day. Although he had been following him around for some time, he had never been able to determine when he would make his big debut.
Greg’s hand was firmly gripping the baseball bat on his passenger seat as he came up close to Richards’ driveway. What he would do when he encountered him was still unknown to him. Though he wasn’t really sure what his plans were, his rage was so intense that the bat would undoubtedly be used. They weren’t good, whatever they were.

He observed something that would shake him to his very core as he sat in his automobile, wondering where his next few steps would take him on his lengthy journey.
Greg was never violent—either as a youngster or as an adult. However, he had cared for this specific scar for so long that he had never given the prospect of it truly mending any thought.
Whatever was at the end of that baseball bat was something Richard deserved, according to all the agony he had nurtured over the years. However, he became aware of his own death when he watched his father, weak and covered in rags, leave to take out the trash.
Greg became acutely aware of how far and low his quest for vengeance had brought him. There was undoubtedly no more of this terrible man who had nearly destroyed him and his mother. And was he worth all the effort he had put in, even if he was somewhere in there?
Greg chose to put down the bat and grab his phone after noticing the “for sale” sign in Richards’ yard. After dialing the number displayed on the board, he deduced that Richard was in debt and that the house was being taken away from him in order to sell it and pay off his debts.
Greg left Richards’s farm right away, feeling thankful and cognizant that he had avoided making what could have been the worst decision of his life. Shortly thereafter, he purchased Richards’ home.
Richard met with the buyer a few days later to complete the transaction. When he entered the property agent’s office and saw Tina and her son waiting, his heart fell.

Not that words would have helped Richard much, but he was at a loss for words. Shortly after he stepped into the room, Greg identified himself and told him to leave the area.
“If I see you again, we’ll have a problem!” Greg uttered those words.
like Tina watched Richard walk away in embarrassment, just like she had done all those years before, the words continued to play in her mind. How likely is it? She pondered.
