People Can’t Stop Talking About Trump’s Reaction After A Guest Collapsed In The Oval Office
One of the visitors abruptly slumped in the backdrop during Dr. Oz’s speech in the Oval Office on Thursday, which was captured on camera while Donald Trump and other guests were present. People are now going crazy with the president’s response.
When an unidentified individual fell on the floor behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, White House staff yelled, “Press out.” At the time of the event, Trump’s Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services administrator, Dr. Mehmet Oz, was holding a news conference on the president’s announcement of his proposal to reduce the cost of weight-loss medications.
There were representatives from Novo Nordisk, the company that produces Rybelsus, Wegovy, and Ozempic. Following the incident, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt later said the person was doing “okay.”
“The White House Medical Unit quickly jumped into action, and the gentleman is okay,” she said.

Initially, Novo Nordisk executive Gordon Findlay was said to have fainted. But according to the corporation, the only Novo Nordisk representatives present were CEO Mike Doustdar and EVP, US Operations Dave Moore. The visitor’s affiliation with the pharmaceutical business Eli Lilly was later verified.
“If you’ve ever been in the Oval Office, you stand a long time and it’s warm. I’m pleased to say that the White House medical staff did a great job, and he’s doing great, so nothing to be concerned about. Thanks for your concern,” David Ricks, Eli Lilly chair and CEO, told ABC News.
People are losing it at Donald Trump’s reaction as White House attendee collapses
The person on the floor was being assisted by Dr. Oz. Nevertheless, social media was ablaze with responses to the actions taken by the US president in the matter.
As people assisted the man on the floor, pictures of Donald Trump standing at his desk and staring into the cameras swiftly went viral.
“Just replace the guy on the floor with America and we have the perfect painting for 2025,” one person wrote on Reddit.
Another added: “[Trump’s] not scripted for dynamic events. It’ll be better to just to restart the quest so you don’t corrupt your save.”
Meanwhile, a third person was critical, saying, “This photo perfectly encapsulates the Trump admin in 2025. Humans empathetic for someone in trouble, while Trump stands by vaguely annoyed that it isn’t about him.”
The journalists was invited back immediately after the brief delay in the news conference. According to Donald Trump, the individual was doing well.
“You saw he went down, and he’s fine. We just sent him out and he’s got doctor’s care, but he’s fine,” he said. “So we had a little bit of an interruption.”
Images like this can be misleading because they freeze a single moment out of context. The photo makes it look like Trump is just standing there ignoring what happened. But in the full video, you can see that he actually walked over, checked on the man, and called for medical help. Media outlets sometimes choose the most dramatic frame to spark emotional reactions and clicks, even if it doesn’t accurately represent what really happened.
