The Heartbreaking Reason Adam Sandler Sends Jennifer Aniston Flowers Every Year On The Same Day

For a tragic cause, Jennifer Aniston’s longtime friend Adam Sandler sends her flowers on the same day each year.

In the 1990s, the Friends actress and Happy Gilmore icon first crossed paths at Jerry’s Deli in Los Angeles.

The stars have since starred together in the Netflix series Murder Mystery, Just Go with It, and its 2023 follow-up. The two are renowned for their strong off-screen dynamic and fun on-set.

Aniston, 56, disclosed in a 2023 interview with The Wall Street Journal that Sandler, 59, gives her a bouquet on Mother’s Day.

Given her experience, the sitcom icon claims that the gesture has a lot of meaning.

The Rachel Green star has previously been candid about her infertility issues, saying in an interview with Allure that she unsuccessfully tried IVF and other treatments in her 30s and 40s.

“All the years and years and years of speculation… It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it,” she shared.

“I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it.”

Aniston talked on how exhausting the process was and how she finally lost it.

“The ship has sailed. I have zero regrets. I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe’. I don’t have to think about that anymore.”

On Mother’s Day, Sandler, a lifelong friend and father of two, and his wife, Jackie, bring her flowers as a token of their love and support for her.

The Morning Show star has previously dismissed claims that her infertility caused her marriage to Hollywood legend Brad Pitt, which ended in 2005, and her relationship with Justin Theroux, which lasted from 2011 to 2017, to “fail.”

“God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child. And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a kid. It was absolute lies.”

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar UK, she added, “[The media] didn’t know my story, or what I’d been going through over the past 20 years to try to pursue a family, because I don’t go out there and tell them my medical woes.”

Aniston recently talked candidly about her choice not to adopt a child during an appearance on Dax Shepard and Monica Padman’s Armchair Expert podcast.

“When people say, ‘But you can adopt’, I don’t want to adopt. I want my own DNA in a little person. “That’s the only way, selfish or not, whatever that is, I’ve wanted it.”

Aniston and Sandler’s former co-star, Drew Barrymore, said last month that the three had talked about collaborating.

Sandler-Barrymore’s prior ventures include Frank Coraci’s Blended, the cult favorite 50 First Dates, and 1998’s Blended. Barrymore, 50, and the Dumplin star previously worked on 2009’s He’s Just Not That Into You.

“We’ve batted around some ideas,” the mother of two remarked on her talk program of the same name.

“As a joke, we say we’ll make the Three’s Company movie, but I’m really bullish on Death Becomes Her, a remake of that.”

1992’s Death Turns Into Bruce Willis, Isabella Rossellini, Meryl Streep, and Goldie Hawn among her stars.

Megan Hilty, Jennifer Simard, and Christopher Sieber appear in the Broadway musical adaptation of the Oscar-winning frenemies movie, which still has a cult following.
