Ryan Routh Found Guilty Of Attempted Assassination Of Donald Trump

The man who was charged with trying to kill President Donald Trump while he was playing golf has been convicted.

On September 15 of last year, Ryan Routh, 59, was taken into custody when security at Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course in Florida noticed a weapon protruding from bushes.

The horrific event occurred only weeks after Trump was nearly killed in another assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and was left with a grazed ear.

According to NBC News, Routh was found guilty on all counts after a trial in Florida, even though he opted to represent himself in court and entered not guilty pleas to all five accusations.

He now has to consider the prospect of spending time in prison.

According to the Secret Service, Routh was observed in some bushes close to the property border while its operatives were escorting the 45th US president around the course to ensure the holes were safe to play.

Multiple agents are thought to have fired at least four bullets at the alleged shooter when they were spotted.

The guy then escaped in a black Nissan sedan after dropping his AK-47-style gun, two backpacks, and a Go Pro, according to law authorities.

At least four bullets were fired at the shooter by several agents who engaged him.

Following the incident Trump issued a welfare update to his supporters through his campaign, which released the following statement: “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I AM SAFE AND WELL!”

“Nothing will slow me down. I will NEVER SURRENDER! I will always love you for supporting me.”

“Unity. Peace. Make America Great Again.”

Naturally, on November 5, Trump won the US presidential election, and the rest is history.
