Security Expert Warned Charlie Kirk He’d Be “100% Killed” At Event
Conservative activist Charlie Kirk allegedly disregarded a dire warning that he was in “grave danger of being shot and killed” by a “sniper” who would “go for a headshot” at an event that was coming up, according to a top security expert.
Kirk allegedly made the fatal decision to disregard the safety instructions despite the alert’s urgency.
During a speech at Utah Valley University on September 10, Charlie Kirk, a 31-year-old conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed. During his “American Comeback Tour,” Kirk was speaking to a crowd when a single bullet killed him in the neck. He was taken to the hospital right away, but his injuries ultimately claimed his life.
According to several news sources, the incident happened at approximately 12:20 p.m. at an outdoor discussion event called “Prove Me Wrong,” when students are asked to refute Kirk’s cultural and political beliefs.

Last words
One of the students approached the microphone and asked him: “Do you know many transgender Americans have been shooters over the last 10 years?” the individual asked.
Kirk responded confidently, “Too many,” as the crowd erupted in applause.
When the same person insisted the number was five and asked about total mass shooters over the past decade, Kirk replied, “Counting or not counting gang violence?” These were his final words, according to Daily Mail.
A single shot rang out a few moments later, hitting Kirk in the neck.
Chaos broke out across the venue when Charlie Kirk passed out on his chair, blood streaming from his neck, sending panic through the audience.
“We heard a big loud shot, I saw a bunch of blood come out of Charlie, I saw his body kind of kick back and go limp, and everybody dropped to the ground,” Justin Hickens, who was approximately 60 feet from the shooting, told NBC News.
Local officials reported that the right-wing political activist passed away from his wounds about 90 minutes after the attack, despite receiving emergency care at a nearby hospital.
The conservative broadcaster was shot dead by a sniper, leaving behind his wife, Erika Frantzve, their three-year-old daughter, and their 16-month-old son. According to Reuters, police and federal officials are conducting a fierce manhunt to find the shooter.
No security checks
Several witnesses have come forward in the wake of the disaster to describe the event’s lack of basic security. Despite having to register for tickets, some guests claimed that no one scanned or verified them at the door.
“I was expecting when I got here that I’d have to pass through some kind of security, but that just wasn’t a thing,” Tyler McGettigan, an attendee, told NBC News. “No one checked the barcode or the QR code. There was no checkpoint to get in. It was literally anyone could walk in if they wanted.”
In addition to telling NBC that there were no metal detectors and that there were only a few security guards positioned close to Kirk, Hickens had previously detailed the mayhem in the throng following the gunfire.
Raydon Dechene, another attendee, echoed those concerns in an interview with CNN, Kasie Hunt, saying bags weren’t checked and “it just felt off.”
Many have questioned how such an event could have been staged with such low security measures, given Kirk’s high-profile status and divisive public presence.
Expert warned of deadly threat
The fact that Kirk was alerted months earlier that his safety at public gatherings was seriously jeopardized is maybe even more unsettling.
Kris Herzog, the owner of The Bodyguard Group in Beverly Hills and a well-known security expert, told the Daily Mail that he saw Kirk in person during a rally held at California State University on March 6. Kirk was then forewarned by Herzog that unless he made considerable improvements to his security procedures, he would “100% be killed at one of his upcoming university speaking events.”
Advised measures to prevent attack
Kirk was advised to take a number of precautions against an attack by Herzog, whose company has worked with celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Sharon Stone. These included hiring off-duty police officers to guard elevated places and possible sniper positions, utilizing metal detectors and handheld wands to screen guests within 700 feet of the speaker, and shielding the stage with B7-level ballistic bulletproof glass panels.
“I told him that a sniper would probably go for a headshot, which means it was of critical importance to have the ballistic glass,” Herzog said of his warning to the MAGA leader.
“Everyone in my group felt that his security was not even close to what it should be, and he was in grave danger of being shot and killed at one of his upcoming events.”
Mark Wilson, another security expert who attended the March demonstration, saw Kirk’s propensity to stand near crowds and claimed that he hardly ever, if ever, wore a bulletproof vest.
“It’s super sad what has happened,” Wilson told the Daily Mail.
“Sadly, he never got back to me and now my prediction of his murder has come true,” Herzog added.
Legendary Charlie Kirk
In a statement posted on Truth Social, President Donald Trump said that American flags would remain at half-mast until Sunday night in remembrance of Charlie Kirk, a really Great American Patriot.
In an earlier message, Trump shared a tribute to the activist who he called “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk.”
“No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!” he wrote on Truth Social, hours after Kirk had died.
