Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Reunite At Red Sox Game With Their Kids

On Friday, Ben Affleck attended a baseball game in Boston with his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Garner and their children, playing the role of the devoted family man.

The 52-year-old Oscar winner, whose ex-wife Jennifer Lopez recently released a song of retaliation after their divorce, went to a Red Sox game while visiting Massachusetts, his birthplace.

At Fenway Park, the actor was spotted sitting next to Garner, 53, and their two kids, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 13. Violet, their 19-year-old eldest kid, was conspicuously missing from the game.

Before their divorce was finalised in 2018, Affleck was married to the actress from 13 Going On 30 from 2005. Nonetheless, the two have continued to enjoy a good co-parenting relationship.

Ben wore a green Boston Red Sox cap over his head and a tan button-up shirt to keep things casual for the expedition.

Wearing a short-sleeved shirt with stripes of red and white, which are among the team’s colours, Jennifer further demonstrated her support.

To keep any loose strands from falling into her face, she tied her long hair back into a basic ponytail.

As they watched the Red Sox play the Tampa Bay Rays, the ex-couple sat between their two kids.

During the family outing, the family engaged in light-hearted discussion and, at one point, made an appearance on a jumbotron inside the ballpark.

Originally from California, Affleck moved to Massachusetts with his family, eventually settling in Cambridge, a city located just northwest of Boston.

While raising their three children, Ben and Garner have remained amicable despite their breakup.

The actress, who is presently seeing John Miller, paid homage to her ex-husband on Father’s Day in June.

She shared a unique old picture of the Gone Girl star at the time, showing one of their newborn kids resting on his chest.

In text added below the sweet picture, Jennifer typed out: “Happy Father’s Day to 3 people’s favorite landing spot.”

The two have also been seen together a lot, including last month when they got back together to pick up their son Samuel from the airport.

Affleck also showed affection for Garner in an interview with GQ earlier in March.

He thought back on his relationship with Garner after their personal breakup and his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.

“I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well,” Affleck told the outlet.

He also talked about how he and Garner have managed their celebrity while remaining truthful with their children.

“We used to have a thing, my ex-wife and I, when they would see something on a supermarket stand,” Ben recalled.

We would say, well, “You know this isn’t always true because if it were, you would have 15 brothers or sisters or whatever the number of stories is where they said that your mom was pregnant.”

Affleck added, “I know what’s going on in my life. And also, really more importantly, my kids know.”

As they celebrated their son’s 13th birthday, the ex-couple was also spotted cuddling at the same moment.

Nonetheless, Garner is still pursuing her relationship with John Miller, and in April, a source told Us Weekly that the two are “basically living together.”

During his breakup with Lopez, Affleck was supported by his ex-wife, and he famously spent the holidays with Garner and their kids in the latter part of last year.

The On The Floor singer filed for divorce in August 2024, on their second wedding anniversary, and it was announced earlier in January that they had both reached a settlement.

At an exclusive listening party for 30 lucky fans last month, Lopez unveiled six new songs, one of which seemed to allude to her divorce from Ben. Lopez has been quite busy.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Edgardo Luis Rivera, a visitor in attendance, discussed one of the songs she sang for her admirers, “Wreckage Of You.”

He said it is a “pop ballad that she told us she cowrote and recorded two weeks ago. She said she was lying in bed after a long day of tour rehearsals when the idea of the song came to her.”

Edgardo further expressed, “She mentioned how last year was a very difficult time for her both personally and professionally. She had to cancel her tour and really focus on herself.”

After attending the listening party, another fan shared their feelings about Wreckage Of Me.

“Very emotional, empowering song about walking away from a relationship and coming out a stronger person,” they added.

Additionally, Lopez sang five more songs: Regular, Up All Night, Birthday, Free, and Save Me Tonight.

In Spain, she began her worldwide summer tour with a performance of the revenge single.

Lopez talked about the song and addressed the audience in the video that showed her on the stage.

“This is a song that is a new song that I want to sing for the first time tonight that came to me when I was up all night one night. Shall we sing this one for the people?”

Some of the lyrics to Wreckage Of You included: “The love I want, the love I need, it starts in me/Now I found my way here I’m gonna stay there.”

“Thank you for the scars you left on my heart, was showing me that stars shine brighter in the dark/I won’t fall apart because of who we are, but your broken parts.”

Jennifer also belted out on stage: “Because of you, I am stronger, wiser/Better than I’ve ever been.”

The celebrity also said in May that she would be returning to Las Vegas for an Up All Night Live residency.

From December 30 until March of the following year, she will perform on a few nights at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum.
