A Passenger Posts A Terrifying Video From Inside A Delta Plane Just Seconds After It Crashed And Turned Over
A passenger on Delta Air Lines shared a glimpse of what it looked like just after the plane crashed and flipped over.
A Delta Airlines airplane, airplane 4819, crashed and overturned yesterday (February 17) at approximately 3:30 p.m. Eastern time as it attempted to land at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada after taking off from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The plane carried 80 people, including four crew members and 76 passengers. Officials said that everyone was successfully evacuated, but at least 18 were sent to the hospital due to injuries.

Pearson CEO Deborah Flint said yesterday evening: “We are very grateful there was no loss of life and relatively minor injuries.”
Medical transport provider Ornge claims that three persons have suffered critical injuries, according to The Independent.
Delta News Hub added in a statement shared to Twitter: “Initial reports were that there are no fatalities. Several customers with injuries were transported to area hospitals.”
“Our primary focus is taking care of those impacted.”
Other passengers have already spoken out about the disaster on social media, posting videos from inside the flight just after it overturned and from outside the plane after it was evacuated.
A passenger called Ashley Zook took to Snapchat to share a video of herself inside the plane still in her seat alongside the caption: “My plane crashed. I’m upside down.”
She can be heard saying: “What the f**k.”
After being safely removed from the aircraft, she posted a video of herself and other passengers surrounding her, with the jet upside down on the ground.
“I was just in a plane crash. Oh my God,” Zook says, the video shared by CBC.
John Nelson, another traveler, also resorted to social media, posting a video on Facebook that said that the jet “crashed” and was “upside down,” with officials there.
“Most people are going to be OK, we’re all getting off, there’s some smoke going on,” he says.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is leading an inquiry into the event.
“The NTSB is leading a team of U.S. investigators to assist the Transportation Safety Board of Canada with their investigation of today’s accident of a Delta Air Lines Bombardier CRJ900 at Toronto Pearson International Airport,” the Federal Aviation Administration stated in a statement.
“Per international protocols under the International Civil Aviation Organization’s Annex 13, any information about the investigation will be released by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.”
