Some of the richest people in the world attended Donald Trump’s inauguration, and their enormous wealth is unfathomable.

Yesterday, January 20, Trump, who Forbes estimates is worth $6.3 billion, took the oath of office as America’s 47th president for the second time.

Additionally, some of the most recognizable faces in the world were present, including affluent politicians and tech billionaires.

It’s hard to imagine how much these five people are worth just from this one picture:

As you can see, the people in this photo are Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, journalist Lauren Sanchez, who is married to Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

With a net worth of $428.8 billion, Musk, 53, is the richest person in the world, according to Forbes.

After cofounding seven businesses, including Tesla and PayPal, Musk paid $44 billion to acquire X (Twitter) in 2022.

Bezos, 61, and Zuckerberg, 40, are ranked second and third on the rich list, respectively, and are also featured in the picture.

After selling books out of his Seattle garage, Bezos established Amazon in 1994.

He became the executive chairman in 2021 after leaving his position as CEO.

Additionally, his net worth as of this writing is $244.4 billion.

After founding Facebook in 2004, the Meta CEO now has a net worth of $213.4 billion.

He went public with Facebook in 2012 and currently owns 13 percent of the business.

The 52-year-old Pichai, who stands between Musk and Bezos, has a far lower net worth, according to The Street, at $1.3 billion.

Following the resignation of Sergey Brin and Larry Page, co-founders and co-CEOs of Google, from day-to-day operations, he was appointed CEO in 2019.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Sanchez, a 55-year-old news anchor and Bezos’ fiancé, is worth $30 million. In addition to being a certified pilot, the entertainment reporter founded Black Ops Aviation.

The five individuals in this picture have a total net worth of $887.9 billion when you add everything up.

On Monday, the Capitol’s rotunda was packed with visitors totaling $1 trillion.

The fourth and fifth richest people in the world were also present, albeit they were not shown in the picture.

Both Larry Ellison, the inventor of Oracle ($213.2 billion), and Bernard Arnault ($184.2 billion), the owner of LVMH, which owns brands like Dior, Louis Vuitton, Moet & Chandon, and Sephora, were there.

One individual commented on the image on X, saying, “Together they could wipe out the national debt.”

Immigration

Trump promised during a rally at Madison Square Garden: “On Day 1, I will launch the largest deportation program in American history to get the criminals out.”

“I will rescue every city and town that has been invaded and conquered, and we will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail, then kick them the hell out of our country as fast as possible.”

‘Make Greenland Great Again Act’

Trump has made the following statement, which has undoubtedly not gone over well with Greenlanders: “The United States of America feels that the ownership and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity for purposes of National Security and Freedom throughout the World.”

“Greenland is an incredible place. The people will benefit tremendously if, and when, it becomes part of our Nation. We will protect it, cherish it, from a very vicious outside World. MAKE GREENLAND GREAT AGAIN!”

Trump intends to negotiate the purchase of Greenland with the Danish King.

January 6 pardons

Trump has already pardoned a staggering 1,500 participants in the 2021 January 6 uprising.

In an interview with TIME before being sworn in, Trump said, “I am inclined to pardon many of them. I can’t say for every single one, because a couple of them, probably they got out of control.”

Getting rid of birthright citizenship

Despite legal hurdles, Trump has already issued an executive order attempting to terminate birthright citizenship.

This would be undoing a significant part of the US constitution, with the 14th Amendment reading: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”

Trump wants to prevent children from automatically becoming citizens if they do not have at least one parent who is a lawful permanent resident of the United States.

Reduce federal support for educational institutions teaching “inappropriate” subjects.

Trump pledged to “cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity” in an early-year speech.

‘Any other unacceptable racial, sexual, or political content on our youngsters’ will be strictly prohibited, he added.

Delaying the TikTok ban

After going dark over the weekend, TikTok was back hours with a message reading, “Welcome back! Thank you for your patience and support. As a result of President Trump’s efforts, TikTok is back in the US!”

Trump has pledged to postpone the ban in order to give TikTok more time to locate an American customer.

Making hidden government files public

During his last rally in Washington, D.C., Trump pledged to make these disclosures in “the coming days” in an effort to improve government transparency.

He said, “We are going to make public remaining records relating to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy, as well as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.”

Making the US the ‘crypto capital’

Trump referred to cryptocurrency as a “scam against the dollar” back in 2021. At a cryptocurrency convention in Nashville last year, he made a more recent pledge: to make America ‘the crypto capital of the planet’.

To the chagrin of some analysts, Trump and his spouse Melania both introduced their own cryptocurrency memecoins before to the inauguration.

“This may represent the single worst conflict of interest in the modern history of the presidency,” Norman Eisen, a former ethics adviser under Obama, told the Washington Post.

End Green Deals

The Green New Deal does not sit well with Trump. Although it is a non-binding resolution, it will never be signed into law, despite being proposed by Democrats Sen. Ed Markey and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in 2019.

Declaring it “the greatest scam in history, probably,” the incoming president has promised to “terminate” it.

Electric vehicles

Joe Biden signed an executive order in 2021 with the goal of having half of all cars on US roadways be electric. It had no legal force behind it.

Trump has already repealed this, telling his supporters on Monday (21 January): “The United States will not sabotage our own industries while China pollutes with impunity.”

Arrange green cards for college graduates

Trump’s unexpected attempt to loosen immigration laws is to let non-citizens remain in the country after completing their college education.

During an episode of the ‘All In’ podcast recorded this year, Trump said, “Somebody graduates at the top of the class, they can’t even make a deal with the company because they don’t think they’re going to be able to stay in the country. That is going to end on Day 1.”
