People Think “Jesus Is Coming” After An Uncommon Sighting In The Uk Sky

Online users are asserting that a Bible prophecy that predicted Jesus’ second arrival is coming to pass.

From alien invasions and nuclear war to the second coming of Jesus, it seems that people are always speculating about the end of the world.

The ‘Star of Jacob’ prophecy is the most recent ‘end times’ claim to circulate online regarding our imminent catastrophe. Various religious sources interpret this as a sign that the messiah is coming back, but how true are these widely shared claims?

What is the ‘Star of Jacob’?

The Bible’s Book of Numbers 24:17 mentions the Star of Jacob, saying, “A star is emerging from Jacob; a sceptre is rising from Israel, and it smashes the brow of Moab and the foundation of all the sons of Seth.”

Although there have been many different interpretations of this phrase over the years, TikTokers are currently using it to assert that humanity is nearing its end.

In a viral video from user Jacob Rutkowski, the teenager emotionally claims, “This star is not just your ordinary star. This star shows us that our King is coming very soon.”

“I’m not meaning hundreds of years, I’m talking about soon. Very soon.”

While some users are citing ongoing conflicts in the Middle East as “evidence” of this prophecy, other accounts have posted videos showing what appears to be a round star in the sky, claiming that this particular star hasn’t been seen in the sky in over 2000 years. However, there is no way to verify whether or not this claim is accurate.

Is the Star of Jacob real?

Atheists will find a scientific explanation for the claim, while practitioners of the Christian and Jewish religions will find it frightening. Whether or not you are inclined to believe in the Star of Jacob prophecy is closely related to your religious views.

Users of the app are already debating the Star of Jacob theory’s legitimacy in great detail. Given how closely Sirius resembles the star in the videos, some have asserted that the star in the clips is indeed Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky.

This’star’, according to some, is actually an asteroid known as 2024 PT5 (also known as a’mini-moon’), which entered Earth’s orbit on September 29 and will be visible in the night sky until November 25.
