Four Expectant Fathers Walk The Hospital Corridor. A Nurse Comes Up To The First Man…
With their wives in labor, four expectant fathers walk the hospital corridor. A nurse comes up to the first man, her smile growing.
“Well done! “It’s twins,” she yells. The man chuckles after appearing momentarily perplexed. He responds, “That’s quite the coincidence. I am employed with the Minnesota Twins.”
The next in line is the second father. The nurse exclaims, “Triplets!” with delight.
The man’s gaze enlarges. “Amazing!” he exclaims. “I’ve always been a fan of threes. I work for 3M, you know.”
A smile of genuine happiness appears on the third man’s face as the nurse moves on to him. “They’re quadruplets,” she exclaims. The man jumps out of his seat. “No way,” he yells. “I’ve always wanted a big family. I work at the Four Seasons Hotel!”
The fourth man, however, is not sharing in the general euphoria.
He’s pacing frantically, picking his hands in his hair.
The nurse approaches cautiously. “Are you alright?” she asks.
He looks at her with a mix of despair and disbelief. “I work for 7-Up!” he cries. “I’m doomed!”
